IF U LOOK AT THE DEFINITION OF PROACTIVE IT SAYS:~

(OF A PERSON OR ACTION) CREATING OR CONTROLLING A SITUATION RATHER  THAN JUST  RESPONDING  TO IT AFTER IT HAD HAPPENED

THIS IS THE DEFINITION OF PROACTIVE~

NOW IF WE APPLY THIS CONCEPT IN OUR LIVES THEN THE BEST EXAMPLE WOULD BE 

WHEN SOMEONE LASHES AT US IN RAGE OR MAKES UR FEEL INFERIOR IN AN ARGUEMENT OR SOMEONE USING OUR INSECURITIES AT US TO MAKES US INFERIOR TO THEM ARE EXAMPLES THAT HAPPEN TO US AND MOSTLY WE ALL REACT TO IT EITHER WITH A LOT OF ANGER , FRUSTRATION , AND RESENTMENT THAT WE REGRET AFTER THE INCIDENT OF HOW STUPID WE LOOKED LIKE

NOW.....WE ALL AGREE THAT WHEN WE EXPERIENCE ANY TYPE OF EMOTION WE SEE IT ON ON A SURFACE LEVEL LIKE IF SOMEONE IS ANGRY WE THINK THAT BEACASUE OF X PERSON OR Z PERSON'S ACTION MADE THE PERSON ANGRY BUT ITS NOT LIKE THAT

EMOTIONS ARE MORE DEEPER AND COMPLEX THAN THAT

WHAT SEEMS LIKE ANGER OR RAGE MIGHT JUST BE ENVY

KNOWING THIS HELPS TO CALM OUR MIND AND MAKE RIGHT DECISIONS 

SEEING THAT U DID SOMETHING X AND A PERSON REACTED NOT NECESSARILY BE BEACUSE OF THE X THING BUT SOMETHING DEEP ROOTED IN THEM

SO INSTEAD OF REACTING TO OTHER PEOPLE'S ACTION TAKE A STEP BACK AND THINK WHAT MAYBE THE CAUSE OF IT? OR WHY DID THIS PERSON REACTED IN THIS WAY?

I DO THIS WHEN I FEEL EMOTIONS THAT MAKES ME NOT ABLE TO FOCUS ON THINGS THAT I WANT TO...I WOULD TAKE A STEP BACK RELAX TAKE A BREADTH AND ACT
